26th Ave N & Dupont Ave N Tuesday 6/12/12 1931hrs 12-180091
V1/male, 20 yrs, was found DOA in the yard at this location. No further information at this time.

22XX Vincent Ave N Wednesday 6/13/12 1122hrs 12-180899
Officer responded to a “check the welfare” on a party at this address. Officer determined V1/female, 76 yrs, was DOA. Further investigation determined this incident was a homicide.

31XX Dupont Ave N Wednesday 6/13/12 0037hrs 12-180479
Officers were dispatched to a person with a gun at the above location & detained AP1/male, 33 yrs, who matched the description provided by V1/female, 29 yrs. During a “show up” V1 positively ID’d AP1 as the party who pointed a gun at her & threatened her, after following her home. V1 stated AP1 put the gun in her face then racked the slide. V1 stated she pled & begged for her life & was in fear that she was going to die. V1 stated AP1 left & she ran inside her house. AP1 was booked in HCJ for PC Assault 2.

41XX Fremont Ave N Friday 6/15/12 0310hrs 12-183012
Officers responded to a shots fired call & located V1/male, 26 yrs, in the back of the building. V1 stated he got into a fight & then was shot by an unknown party. V1 appeared to be intoxicated & had a laceration on the side of his chin & on his elbow, which appeared to be grazed by bullets. V1 went to the hospital via ambulance. V1 would not supply possible suspect information, but a witness stated he saw S1/ unknown male, 18-30 yrs, put something in his waistband after the shots were fired. V1’s wounds are non-life threatening. S1 was GOA.

29XX Thomas Ave N Friday 6/15/12 2203hrs 12-183978
Officers were dispatched to the above location on a shooting call & located V1/male, 22 yrs, with a gunshot wound to his leg. V1 stated he was standing at the top of some stairs at this address with other family members when shots were fired. V1 stated he heard 4—5 shots before he ran into the house. V1 & a witness stated they saw a white vehicle driving away from the scene after the shots were fired. V1 was transported to the hospital via ambulance with a non-life threatening wound.

Broadway Ave W & Penn Ave N Thursday 6/14/12 1417hrs 12-182249
Officer responded to a Robbery of Person at gunpoint. V1 stated a brown van stopped as he was walking to the bus stop & unknown male, 39 yrs, got out of the van & pointed a small caliber handgun at V1 demanding his money. V1 gave AP1 $100 & stated he saw S1/female, 44 yrs, standing off to the side holding a pit bull on a leash. AP1 & S1 got back into the van & fled. Information was aired & another squad stopped the suspect vehicle. V1 was brought to the location & positively ID’d AP1 & S1 as the parties involved. AP1 was booked in HCJ for PC Aggravated Robbery. V1 was not injured & was given a ride home.

35XX Girard Ave N Saturday 6/16/12 0225hrs 12-184333
Officers were dispatched to a Robbery of Person call at the above location & met V1/male, 43 yrs, who stated he was robbed at gunpoint by 3 unknown males, 18-25 yrs. V1 stated he gave the suspects $200 & that 2 of the suspects held guns on him, while the 3rd suspect just stood by. The suspects then walked away. V1 was not injured.

5XX Broadway Ave W Sunday 6/17/12 1720hrs 12-186094
Officer responded to a Robbery of Biz. & met W1/male, 20 yrs, a cashier at Subway who provided a description of S1/male, 20-25 yrs, & stated S1 pointed a gun at him. S1 reached into the register & grabbed money. Loss was approx. $200 in unknown bills & a foot long sandwich. S1 fled on foot. There is a store video of the incident. W1 was not injured.

34th Ave N & Penn Ave N Sunday 6/17/12 2200hrs 12-186391
Officer was dispatched to meet V1/male, 21 yrs, who was the victim of an attempted Robbery of Person. V1 stated he got off the bus & started walking when 3 unknown males, 16-20 yrs, followed him. S1 pulled out a handgun & struck V1 above the eye, causing him to stumble & fall. Suspects demanded V1’s money, but he emptied his pockets & showed them he didn’t have any. V1 took out his cell phone & showed suspects his empty wallet. Suspects kicked V1 then walked away. V1 refused medical attention & did not want to answer questions about the incident.

5XX Broadway Ave W Monday 6/18/12 1629hrs 12-187025
Officers responded to a Robbery of Biz at the above location (Subway). V1/male, 28 yrs, is an employee & was the only person is in the store during the robbery. V1 stated S1/male, 45-50 yrs, entered the biz & ordered some chips. S1 then pulled out a semi-automatic pistol & demanded all the money, while pointing the gun at V1. V1 handed S1 all the paper bills from the register & S1 fled on foot. There is store video of the incident, which will be investigated. V1 was not injured.

35XX 6th St N Tuesday 6/12/12 0205hrs 12-179273
Officers were in the above area on the report of shots fired. Officers observed a vehicle running in front of this location, where officers have responded to numerous shot-related calls. The vehicle was stopped & 2 shell casings were observed to the rear of it. The back seat passenger was moving around as officers approached. All parties were removed from the vehicle & 2 semi-automatic handguns were seen in plain view on the floor. S1/male, 21 yrs, & S2/male, 22 yrs, stated AP1/male, 21 yrs, put the guns on the center console & told the driver to hide them. S1 & S2 were ID’d & sent. AP1 was booked in HCJ for PC Weapons & the vehicle was towed.

26XX Newton Ave N Wednesday 6/13/12 1056hrs 12-180867
Officers responded to 26th & Newton on the report of shots fired. Two callers confirmed this & described a male carrying a gun, who ran into 2018 25th Ave N. A woman who lived there stated AP1/male, 28 yrs, asked to come in & ran into her basement. He later ran into her kid’s bedroom. Officers secured the home & obtained permission to search it. A gun was recovered in the basement & AP1 was apprehended & booked in HCJ for PC Weapons. No injuries.

21XX Lowry Ave N Thursday 6/14/12 2013hrs 12-182589
Surveillance officers observed 2 males crossing the street against the light, which caused vehicles to have to brake as they approached. Undercover officers also observed the 2 males take a bottle from a paper bag & pass it back & forth. Officers believed they were sharing alcohol. A marked squad was called to stop the 2 parties & they fled on foot to the above location. AP1/19 yrs, was observed throwing a large black object into a yard. AP2/19 yrs, was also observed throwing a gun to the ground. Both males were apprehended & booked in HCJ for PC Weapons. The guns were inventoried.

32XX Lyndale Ave N Friday 6/15/12 1141hrs 12-183284
Police received information on a person with a gun after AP1/male, 21 yrs, threatened 2 witnesses with it. Police were directed to the area where AP1 fled & located him. When AP1 saw officers, he fled on foot. AP1 was apprehended in the rear of 29XX Lyndale N & the handgun was recovered. AP1 was booked in HCJ for PC Weapons.

20XX Russell Ave N Monday 6/18/12 2030hrs 12-187267
Officers responded to the above location regarding AP1/ male, 25 yrs, holding young females hostage. AP1 showed the victims a gun & threatened to shoot the caller’s boyfriend, who was on his way over to rescue the victims. AP1 was located & arrested. AP1 was booked in HCJ for PC CSCM & Weapons.
