Broadway Ave W & Emerson Ave N Tuesday 6/5/12 1900hrs 12-171370
Officer was flagged down by witnesses in a vehicle who stated V1/male, 25 yrs, who was in the vehicle, had been shot. Officers & EMS attempted first aid, but V1 was pronounced dead at the scene.

9XX Morgan Ave N Tuesday 6/5/12 0001hrs 12-170758
Officers were dispatched to the hospital to take a report on a stabbing. RP1/female, victim’s mother & OT1/male, victim’s cousin, drove V1/male, 20 yrs, to the hospital. V1 had a verbal confrontation with 5 unknown males which turned into a physical fight. Sometime during this fight, V1 was stabbed in the back. Officers were unable to speak to V1, but medical staff stated he suffered a cut 2” wide & 4” deep, & that he would be admitted to the hospital to monitor any chance of internal injuries. V1 also had a bite mark on one of his shoulder. No suspect info.

Officer was dispatched to a Domestic, which turned out to be an Assault between 2 acquaintances. V1/S1/male, 36 yrs, stated S2/V2/male, came over to his apt but was causing several disturbances & left. S2 returned the next day & banged on the apt. door. V1 eventually let him in so he could get items he had left over the weekend. V1 stated a verbal argument ensued & turned into a physical fight with S2. S2 obtained a knife from the kitchen & stabbed V1 in the finger. V1 was able to take control of the knife & he stabbed S2 in the back several times. Officer obtained information from S2, who stated he had been staying at V1’s residence for 2—3 weeks. V2/S2 stated that V1 started a physical fight & that as he (S2) was leaving, V1 stabbed him in the back. S2 stated he did not stab V1. Robbinsdale PD took custody of V2/S2 for a Domestic Assault in Champlain as well as an outstanding warrant.

Penn Ave N & 37th Ave N Tuesday 6/5/12 2139hrs 12-171593
V1/female, 27 yrs, stated she was driving her vehicle on Penn & when she passed 37th Ave N, an unknown suspect shot at her vehicle with a pellet gun. V1 stated there were several people in the area when this occurred & she did not see a gun or the shooter. The pellet shattered the rear driver’s side window of her SUV. Officers observed this damage. V1 was not injured. No suspect information.

Officers were requested to remove an unwanted male from the above location. AP1 became very agitated & showed no signs of complying with the orders. Police informed AP1 he was under arrest for Disorderly Conduct & AP1 swung his arms while attempting to threaten officers. Officer was hit in the forehead which caused a visible injury. AP1 was booked in HCJ for PC Assault 4 & Gross Misd. PC Obstruct Legal Process.

24xx Newton Ave N Wednesday 6/6/12 2340hrs 12-173062
Officer was dispatched to the hospital regarding a shooting. A security guard informed officer that V1/male, 17 yrs, was already in surgery. Officer spoke with PG1—V1’s mother & she stated that V1 had been hanging out with a friend in the Tangle Town neighborhood. The friend’s mother/ PG2 told PG1 that her son had been shot & relayed the following: V1 was walking near a convenience store when he was shot. V1 & others ran to PG2’s home & she drove him to the hospital. A nurse told officers that V1 stated he had been shot near 26th & Penn & that he had serious wounds. V1 was shot in the back & the bullet struck his spleen, stomach, & possibly his diaphragm. The nurse stated V1 was not going to die from his wounds. Officers did not locate a crime scene at 26th & Penn, but found a spent shell at the above location. No suspect information.

42x 24 AV N Thursday 6/7/12 1115 hours 12-173415
Victim 1 and Victim 2 arrived at the rental property address that Victim 1 owns. The upstairs resident had moved out and the victims were there to take photographs of what was still left inside. The ex-upstairs resident AP1 arrived on scene and got into a dispute with Victim 1. AP1 broke a glass bowl over Victim 1's head and chased him around outside with a large kitchen knife. AP1 also threatened to stab Victim 2. 911 was called and AP1 was arrested outside in the yard. Victim 1 suffered minor injuries and a torn shirt. The knife was recovered at the scene and photographed. AP1 was booked
Assault 4 Assaulting an Animal Control Officer

The victim, Animal Control Officer, was bit in the chest by the suspect’s dog. The dog was let out of the garage by the suspect intentionally into fully enclosed, fenced yard knowing the ACO was present. The suspect’s dogs were impounded.

Officers responded to HCMC on a report of a shooting victim. Officers arrived and spoke to the victim who had a minor injury to the middle of his back. The victim appeared to have been "grazed" by a bullet, horizontally. The victim was uncooperative and provided the location of the shooting but stated he did not see anything or anybody in the area and had no idea who had shot at him. The victim admitted to being a gang member and having many enemies.

Officers responded to the above listed location on a PERGUN. A1 threatened to shoot V1 during a neighbor dispute. The incident was witnessed by W1-3. A1 was booked at HCJ.

11xx Lowry Ave No Saturday 1440 12 176249
The listed victim is the owner of the business. The listed AP's 8 year old daughter was a customer today. AP dropped her daughter off and returned 3 hours later. AP was told the cost was $120; AP only had $75 and then told the victim she did not like the work that was done. The victim offered to have it removed. AP declined stating she would do that at home. AP attempted to leave without paying. The victim grabbed hold of the daughter by the arm to prevent them from leaving. AP punched the victim two times in the face to get her to move away from the door. AP then picked up a scissors and told the victim she would kill her. While this was going on, other family members of AP arrived and did damage to the store/property. The scissors was recovered, photos taken

The victim came into the Pct with his mother stating he wanted to report an incident that occurred yesterday. The victim reports to have been ordered at gunpoint by the suspects to drive them around to various banks throughout the metro area. The victim reports the suspects demanded that he deposit counterfeit checks which they provided him into his mother’s bank account.

V1 lives at the above address. V1 had friends sleep over, V2 and S1. Just before the assault V1 asked S1 to leave. S1 was upset and heated up a cup of water in the microwave. After the water was heated S1 poured the water on the faces of V1 and V2. V1 and V2 were still in bed. V1 and V2 received burns on the face. The burns blistered and a few layers of skin peeled off. After the assault S1 left on foot. V1 and V2 only know the first name of S1 and they do not know where he lives. Both victims were transported to the hospital with minor burns.

Officers responded to 2405 James Ave N in reference to an Assault, which turned out to be a CSC. V1/female, 24 yrs, stated she was just sexually assaulted by S1/male, 42 years, who has been a friend for the past 2 years. V1 stated she has never had sex with S1 before. V1 was invited over to S1’s house & stated she was drinking & S1 was intoxicated. S1 attempted to sexually assault V1, but she was able to run outside & scream for help. S1 drove off in his vehicle. V1 wishes to press charges. V1’s cousin is a witness to this incident.

V1/male, 36 yrs, stated he mows lawns & was in the area to check if someone needed their lawn mowed again. A red car pulled up & 3 males 19-30 yrs, exited the vehicle. The suspects began accusing V1 of stealing a TV. V1 denied this & S1 then punched V1 while another suspect went through his pockets & stole $30 in cash. Suspects also stole V1’s bicycle & baseball cap. V1 did not require medical attention. Witnesses in the neighborhood were able to provide names on 2 of the suspects to police.

Officer was flagged down by V1/male, 48 yrs, who stated he had just been robbed at knifepoint. V1’s clothes were torn & his back, arms, & legs were covered in grass. V1 stated S1/male, 45-50 yrs, was his friend, whom he has worked with in the past. V1 & S1 were walking down the street when S1 demanded money, produced a knife & grabbed V1 around the neck. Unknown S2/male, 45-50 yrs, ripped V1’s pants & removed $206 in cash while S1 maintained the knife on V1. Suspects then fled. V1 refused medical attention & stated he thought it was an ambush. Suspects were GOA.

V1 and V2 were robbed at gunpoint by three suspects, who then fled the scene. The listed items were taken from V1 and V2. V1 and V2 were provided Blue Cards and advised. Supplement added.
